Bad News For Lovers PTA stopping SMS and Call packages. Earlier a letter from the PTA Director General Muhammad Talib Dogar reminded relevant authorities of a PTA Directive from Nov 14, 2012, which instructed all operating companies to quit offering chat packages “contrary to moral values of the society”.
Islamabad: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has stated that it has been misquoted in media regarding the stopping of chat packages.
